Custom Greetings

"A customer's first impression often comes down to what happens when the phone rings."

Make a great first impression with your own custom company or personal greeting. Fast Connect's unique custom greeting allows you to greet your customers with style giving them the "feel good" impression that they're calling a professional company or individual.

Use your custom greeting to:

  • Present a professional image.

  • Tell folks what your claim to fame is.

  • Let customers know how to find you on the world wide web! 

Here's an example of what your Greeting might say:

"Thank you for calling Message Bureau Inc., specializing in setting up and managing Voice Mail networks for small to medium businesses.  Please hold one moment for a representative."

Please note that if would like, you can follow your custom greeting with a custom voice menu of options to make an even bigger impression.  

Follow-me call routing

Have the ability to take your calls personally instead of having them going straight to voice mail. If you're available you can choose to take the call...if your line is busy, rings no answer or a device answers (such as an answering machine, fax or modem), Fast Connect will automatically send the caller to your voice mailbox so they can leave you a message. If there are times you don't want to be bothered, just call your Fast Connect number and enable the do not disturb feature.

Have your calls follow you wherever you go (or redirect them to someone else for awhile) by simply dialing into your toll free or local number and changing your ring-to-destination to whatever number you want in the U.S. (cellular phones included). Changes in your destination remain completely transparent to callers so they'll never know whether your sitting at your desk or by the pool!

Three Destination Numbers

Go on, get out!  With a three destination numbers, Fast Connect can try you in your office first and if you don't answer, try your cell phone, or even your home phone!  Fast Connect is the only service to offer three different types of Secondary Destinations - each one designed to solve a different type of problem.

Find me

Fast Connect will attempt to reach you at primary ring-to destination first (such as your office). If the line rings no answer, Fast Connect will automatically try you at your secondary destination (such as your cell phone) or even a third number. If you don't answer, or screen the call and decide not to take it or your line is busy, Fast Connect will then send the caller to voice mail.

Second person coverage

    Wish someone could back you up when your on the phone or just can't answer? No problem!  Fast Connect will always try to reach you first, but if your number is busy or rings no answer then Fast Connect will try your backup's number. If that person's line rings no-answer or is busy Fast Connect will send the caller to a third number then your voice mailbox so they can leave you a message.

Other service coverage

    Do you want to have all of your calls answered by a "live" person and never go to voice mail. No problem! Fast Connect will first attempt to reach you with a call. If your line is busy or rings no answer, Fast Connect will send the call to your outside service of choice (which may be an answering service, fulfillment center or whatever.). Once your service answers Fast Connect "let's go" of the call; so it will never go to voice mail. Note that upon answer supervision, Fast Connect can dial any digits required (including pauses) to route the call to or through other devices such as an automated attendant or external voice mail system.

Call announce/screening

Answer with Fast Connect and never get blindsided by a business call again! Imagine answering your phone and hearing this:

Call for John Smith from Seattle, Washington. To accept the call press 1, to send it to voice mail press 2

That's what you'll hear when you answer with Fast Connect This feature has received more compliments from work-from-home professionals than any other Fast Connect feature offered!

  • Give your family the freedom to answer the phone without worrying that they may "mess up" a business call. They can either give it to you if you're around or simply press 1 to send it to your voice mailbox if your not - even the kids can handle that!

  • Know who's calling from virtually anywhere in the United States before you even speak with them. Our National Caller ID works on any phone (including cell phones) and you don't need any equipment or special service from your Bell company to use it!

  • Accept only the calls you want and send unwanted calls straight to your voice mailbox without callers ever knowing they were screened.

Message delivery/notification via email

Get notified when you have a message without needing a pager!  Fast Connect will send the voice message to email or just a notification each time someone leaves you a voice or fax mail message so you can respond to their needs right away - and you don't need a separate pager, just an email address! Fast Connect will identify the Name of the Extension or Department the call was for, the caller's full ten digit phone number and the time and date the message was left.

Fast Connect can even page most digital cell phones and provide the same information on your alpha numeric display. All you need is your cell phone's email address which your carrier can provide you.
